We believe that you will find it extremely useful for the optimisation of your bioprocess control system.
On-line cell density monitoring reduces the risk of missing important events which would remain undetected if classical on-line biomass measurement techniques would be used like for example the calculation of the oxygen uptake rate (OUR) or the CO2 evolution rate (CER).
Hamilton’s cell density sensors measure viable cell volume based on capacitance. The Arc View Controller integrates the measurements of viable and total cell density, pH and dissolved oxygen measurement in one device and can be used as stand-alone device, as well as being integrated into a process control system.
