camille bauer solutions for power quality monitoring

Industry, commerce, health care services, banks and other service providers are extremely dependent upon electrical and electronic systems.

These systems influence mains quality themselves in many ways, but they react extremely sensitively to any disturbance as well.
It is thus the entrepreneurial responsibility of all modern business operations to keep their own electrical systems under control - 24 hours a day under any possible conditions. Action should be taken as soon as the first signs of poor mains quality appear such as overheated transformers and cables, excessive current in neutral conductors without any explicable cause, tripped protective devices, flickering lights, computer failures and data network problems, interference in telephone lines or inexplicably increased energy costs.

Causes can be pinpointed and the elimination of faults can be implemented through the use of suitable measuring equipment.

We offer you an overview of the different important aspects of Power Quality and possible solutions:

Camille bauer release the new sirax bm1250 multifunctional measuring device for network parameters

8/7/2019

Camille Bauer Metrawatt AG complements its transmitter portfolio with the multifunctional power and monitoring measuring device SIRAX BM1250 and completes their range of services downwards. With its price performance ratio it positions the SIRAX BM1250 itself below the SINEAX AM1000 or the APLUS, which enables us to offer our customers the right measuring device at all times.

The SIRAX BM1250 is suitable for fixed installation and measurement of the most accurate electrical parameter in low-voltage installations. The measurement is designed for 1 or 3-phase networks with 2, 3 or 4 wire and is used to safely monitor the electrical distribution. The measured values are displayed on the generous LCD display. The device has two optional outputs which can be configured as pulse output for energy measurement, limit value output, timer function or relay output. An RS485 interface with Modbus/RTU is also available. Optionally, the device can also be ordered with a integrated data logger.

Camille bauer's range of services

You cannot imagine life today without electrical energy. Having reliable high quality energy requires the well-conceived interaction between energy producers, grid operators and consumers. Camille Bauer products and services help you to devise your energy supply safely and reliably.
Picture
Avoiding grid problems before they occur
Power quality
Modern power electronics and non-linear consumers increasingly impair the electrical grid which is the reason why alternating current has not shown the original sinusoidal characteristic already over a period. This bears heavily on electrical devices and machines and extends to higher thermal losses, increased energy consumption through to the disturbance and downtime of plants. Our solutions ensure that problems are early recognised, even before they occur.

Devices for grid management and equipment monitoring
Measuring and displaying
Grid management and equipment monitoring require precise and reliable information of different grid variables. For this purpose, we offer a wide range of high-quality instruments to acquire all variables of the electrical grid. Our position sensors reliably acquire mechanical positions, angles and inclinations. Supplemented by temperature transmitters and isolating amplifiers, our device portfolio is used throughout the entire measuring chain.
Picture
Highly precise instruments combined with a Soft-PLC and logic function
Monitoring and controlling
We offer the unique possibility of not only acquiring all variables of the electrical grid precisely and reliably, but also processing them directly via a PLC integrated into the device and controlling processes. This enables us to realise process controls directly at the measuring point. You thus save a separate PLC or you realise an autarkicly working redundant solution.
Picture
Comprehensive solutions for transparency and analysis in an industrial environment
Industrial energy and data management
We collect all of your instrumentation data and manage it centrally. Your processes are clearly structured, energy consumption becomes visible.
From the measured data, we prepare reports, e.g. energy overview reports, measured data reports or, in relation to power quality, a report according to EN 50160.
Graphic representation of the entire process as well as a navigation through the process itself can also be realised.

open sensor calibration with an insacal conductivity master meter

10/3/2017

INSACAL CONDUCTIVITY CALIBRATOR

Conductivity Calibrator Insacal
Insacal Conductivity Calibrator
With the Insacal Conductivity Calibrator you will be able to validate your conductivity sensors in-line. The Insacal is primarily used in the pharmaceutical industry where there are high requirements for documentations of water purity. But it would also be very useful in other industries like biotechnology or nuclear power. The Insacal Conductivity Calibrator weighs only 4kg and is easily transported to the location of your conductivity. The Insacal can be used for in-situ calibration in closed loop, saving you hours on total calibration time.

The calibration can be carried out in two ways, either in an open beaker or in-situ to prevent risk of contamination of the Unit Under Test (UUT). In both cases the calibration is carried out by comparing the UUT to the Insacal Conductivity Calibrator. The advantage is that the Insacal Conductivity Calibrator can be used in a beaker in the laboratory and afterwards it can be used in a closed loop in the production.
