Smart user interface, smart architecture, and smart functionality is achieved in the new Yokogawa SMARTDAC+ data acquisition and control product series. SMARTDAC+ begins with the new GX and GP data acquisition stations. 21 CFR PART II ADVANCED SECURITY & AUDIT TRAIL View the SMARTDAC+ GX/GP Paperless Recorder Video KEY FEATURES TOUCH OPERATION -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The new touch screen provides swipe, pinch in/out, and click and drag controls for fast navigation of common display mode functions. MODULAR I/O SPECIFICATIONS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One of the outstanding new features is the fully modular I/O design. Analog input, digital input, and relay output functions are handled by independent modules that can be installed in any available slot on the rear of the unit, and in any combination. LIVE WEB BROWSER ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A live web browser can be used to fully access the GX/GP using two operating modes - Data and Configuration. SAFE AND SECURE DATA STORAGE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In record mode, real-time data is saved to a file in secure non-volatile flash memory using a proprietary binary file format. VERSATILE DISPLAYS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Standard display screens clearly indicate channel data with units and tags, plus alarm log, message log, and other event log information. USER INTERFACE -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The user interface was designed by human factors engineers that incorporated the latest thinking into the data presentation. Trend history data is viewed directly from the main trend display by simply swiping the screen in the opposite direction to review the trend data. You can also use the data search tool. PC SOFTWARE ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The GA10 Universal Viewer is used to display, examine and print GX/GP data files. You can search for data by tag name, channel number, batch name, date, time and electronic signature status. NETWORKING ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The standard Ethernet interface supports a range of useful functions including real-time data access and file transfers. Saved data files can be sent automatically to an FTP server, or retrieved manually with a web browser. LOCK FUNCTION --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The media access door of the GX/GP can be locked to prevent unauthorized access to the power switch and removable media.
